I live near a large integrated refinery and chemical plant that processes 10 million tons of crude oil and 800,000 tons of ethylene. The refining section includes units for atmospheric and vacuum distillation, catalytic processing, hydrocracking, residue hydrogenation, and diesel and gasoline purification. The chemical production section features facilities for producing ethylene, carrying out reforming and extraction processes, manufacturing high- and low-density polyethylene, butyl octanol, ethylene glycol, cis-butadiene rubber, and polypropylene. I am now interested in entering the downstream petrochemical industry; I would appreciate any good suggestions from those with experience in this field.
With good connections, anything is possible! Recently, with the anti-** situation like this, the top leaders won’t back down! Also, it seems to be Pengzhou; the mayor has gotten involved there, which makes things even more difficult. Currently, there is a company named Shida Chemical that handles downstream operations, but that too isn’t easy. The prices of chemical products are highly volatile these days; when you conduct market research, the conditions might be favorable, but by the time you start production, the domestic market conditions may have changed! Unless you have a patent
There are already entities involved in this work; funds in the range of 1 billion are being prepared. The question is not clear enough, please understand. There are also a few projects under planning at the moment, and I was wondering if there are any other things that could be considered.
