How to check for leaks in the gas holder bottom plate?

The bottom plate of the gas holder in our factory is leaking. Do you have any good solutions? I used a blower to inflate it, but I couldn’t get enough pressure; I couldn’t figure out why!
Try using magnetic powder or leak-detection fluorescent powder
A leak in the bottom plate of a gas holder is a very troublesome issue; it is usually caused by problems with the welding. Along all welds, use magnetic particle testing or ultrasonic testing to locate the leakage points and carry out repair welding. Then, the base plate is coated with asphalt.
An analysis is conducted on the leakage points in gas tanks; if it is the first time the tank is in use, the issue might lie in the welds, and methods such as magnetic particle testing, dye penetration testing, or ultrasonic testing can be used. For large storage tanks and containers, a vacuum pump is employed to create a vacuum condition in order to locate leakage points, which helps to identify issues such as weld defects, corrosion-induced perforations in the bottom plate, or pores in the steel plates
Our gas holder has also had leaks; the bottom plate is corroded and perforated. If sufficient gas cannot be filled in, it’s possible to check the membrane of the gas holder – liquid will seep out if there is a leak in the bottom plate
