I’m an outsider in this field, and I would like to ask: for a constant-pressure furnace that uses pure oxygen along with steam, can steam containing flammable gases be used? Could it explode when mixed with oxygen and introduced into the furnace? I would appreciate it if fellow sailors could give me some advice
It won’t explode without a source of fire.

This post was last edited by jensse on 2015-10-7 at 14:32. When the oxide layer comes into contact with a fire source, and the components of that fire source change, deflagration should occur as a result of the added amount.
Can deflagration cause damage to the furnace? Previously, when I was working at a coking plant and observing the furnace top dust removal vehicle, raw gas emerged from the coal feeding holes for combustion; when the air ratio was incorrect, explosions occurred inside the dust removal vehicle, producing very loud noises that were strong enough to make the several-ton dust removal bed vibrate. So I think that when oxygen and steam containing combustible gases mix inside the gasifier and rise from the bottom of the furnace to a certain temperature range, intense combustion occurs, that is, deflagration. I’m not sure if this idea is right or not
What vaporization process do you use? Is water vapor used as the vaporizing agent? Water gas?
It is a continuous gasification process at normal pressure using pure oxygen and water vapor; for example, it’s the Changyu furnace in Jiangxi
Are there any atmospheric pressure vaporization furnaces that use steam, with the steam not being mixed with oxygen before entering the furnace? Is there such a gasification furnace?
