Can a detachable plate heat exchanger (with condensation function) be used for heat exchange with low-pressure steam (connected to a vacuum pump)?

We need to perform multi-effect evaporation of acid solutions, and heat exchangers are required to exchange heat between the low-pressure secondary steam and the acid solution. I was wondering whether a plate heat exchanger can withstand negative pressure The material is Hastelloy; are there any recommended manufacturers? First, thank you all for your replies.
In my opinion, plate heat exchangers with a fully welded structure perform better than those with detachable plates.
