The acetylene in the mechanical manufacturing plant is delivered to the workshops through busbars and pipelines. Are there any requirements regarding the distance between the acetylene and oxygen pipelines in the workshops and the ignition points? Are these requirements based on those for acetylene cylinders and oxygen cylinders? What are the regulatory guidelines?
There are requirements for the bottles, but no requirements for the pipelines.
Check if there is acetylene gas in the device If the device is in operation, there must be distance requirements ； For new devices that haven’t been operated yet, there are none.
There are certainly requirements regarding bottles; if pipes are installed in the factory building, then that area becomes a hazardous zone, and it can no longer be considered a fixed hot work site. Hot work activities in such areas also require approval through proper procedures.
