Recently, a batch of saturated steam from the manufacturer’s scrubber tower has reached our company; this steam contains sulfate ions, chloride ions, and hypochlorite ions, in low concentrations. The temperature of this steam is around 40 degrees Celsius. We would like to know whether 2205 duplex steel can resist corrosion caused by these ions, and whether there are any data available regarding the corrosion resistance of 2205 duplex steel

Yes, because Teflon contains fluorine and offers excellent corrosion resistance; 2205 and 2507 will develop pitting as soon as they are exposed to chloride ions. Your material is quite complex.
Duplex stainless steel exhibits good resistance to stress corrosion under conditions of chloride and hydrogen sulfide. The temperature and concentration levels mentioned by the original poster are not high, so there should be no problem.
So then, what about in salt acid? Can these two materials withstand it?
