This is precisely the issue of how to reduce the consumption of raw coal; in gas production, the \"three highs and one low\" approach is generally used, namely high furnace temperature, high carbon layer thickness, high air volume, and short blowing time. It depends specifically on the furnace type and coal quality.
Increase the steam decomposition rate; lower the temperature in the upper airways; reduce the carbon content in the ash; minimize slag removal from the gas generator

Strong short bursts of air are used to increase the blowing intensity while ensuring that the furnace does not tip over, along with superheated steam and other methods. Heating with air introduced into the furnace and preheating of coal fed into the furnace are adopted.

However, the most important thing is to ensure the quality of the coal fed into the furnace; it’s necessary to know what type of coal is being used, its fixed carbon content, volatile matter content, ash melting point, and calorific value. After determining the quality of the coal, other factors such as air pressure, electricity supply, steam volume, air temperature, and humidity also affect the gas generation rate of the furnace.
