After removing the inlet and outlet pipes of the plate heat exchanger in the new hydrogen machine water station, it was found that the gaskets used were graphite wound gaskets of DN100 PN1.6; no spare parts were available. Is it possible to use such PTFE gaskets instead?
We used temporary ones; once the spare parts arrived, we replaced them. Pay attention to monitoring, and it’s okay to wrap duct tape around appropriately
If the medium is circulating water, there should be no problem; it depends on what the pressure is
If the pressure is low, there’s no problem. Besides, the medium is water, which is non-toxic and harmless.
