The code for the valve is (K)Z5(6 9)4(6)3(4)W(P)(F Y D). The name of the valve is a flat gate valve with flow guidance. Now the question is: what does the letter (K) at the beginning mean? It doesn’t seem like there’s any category labeled K among the types of valves Also, if the W at the back is the material code for the sealing surface, what material does it represent (this material cannot be found)? A nominal pressure value seems to be omitted in the middle; the P(F Y D) that appears later likely represents the material code of the valve body. But why is there a parenthesis around the P? It’s better for the requesting department to explain it themselves; in most cases, such issues arise because the requesting department itself is not clear about them.
K is a code for a specific structure, referring to a gate valve with guide holes; W indicates that the sealing surface is formed directly from the valve body. The original poster can take a look at the method used to assign valve models – it’s available upon search on the forum
