According to the \"GB 50444-2008 Code for Acceptance and Inspection of Fire Extinguisher Installation in Buildings\", dry powder fire extinguishers must be inspected in the fifth year after leaving the factory; subsequent inspections are carried out every two years, and they should be discarded after ten years. However, during routine inspections we usually require that the dry powder in fire extinguishers be replaced annually. We have consulted fire extinguisher inspection agencies, and they said it is due to the shelf life requirements of the dry powder; yet we have not been able to find any relevant standard specifications. We would appreciate guidance from those with expertise at Haichuan.
We originally also had a period of two years; it was only about three years ago that it was changed to one year. The reason for this change is unclear, and currently we still follow the two-year period.

Same question: personally, I think the fire extinguisher has expired. The company that fills them can attach an expiration date label to it, which allows the fire extinguisher to be used for another year. Find the norm.
