After replacing the seal on a hot oil pump and reinstalling it, it was found that there was no thrust clearance – what are the possible causes of this issue? If no action is taken, I assume that during the operation of the heat pump, the rotor will expand thermally, causing the thrust plate and thrust bearings to stick together, which in turn will prevent the plate from moving? Is this inference valid? Recalling similar incidents in the past, it is inferred that the possible causes of this failure are: 1. Excessive runout of the end face of the stop disc. 2. The thrust plate is not properly installed ; The lock nut was not tightened properly, resulting in the thrust plate not being installed correctly; or impurities in the accessories caused the thrust plate to not be installed properly

Do you have the drawings? Could you be more specific?
If the thrust plate isn’t installed properly, it will stick to the secondary thrust component; but when pushing in the direction of the primary thrust, it should still be able to move, right?
There are no drawings. What else do you mean that needs to be clarified?
Do you mean the issue of allocating quantities before and after the shift?
