Our company has a centrifugation unit with the following operating conditions: Solvent: toluene, acidic (distilled after reacting with thionyl chloride); it is highly irritating and corrosive. Solid-liquid ratio: around 35%, making separation easy; discharge is done intermittently, at a rate of 600–700 kg per batch. What type of closed centrifuge should be used?
A centrifuge with a flat scraper for unloading will suffice in this case

There are many types of closed centrifuges to choose from
A siphon scraper centrifuge is more suitable.
1250 centrifuge with flat scraper for unloading; considering a strong acid environment, a Halar lining is likely required
It’s up to you to decide – you can use hanging bags, manual labor, or automated unloading; if you want to save on labor costs, go with automated unloading
