A shut-off valve should be installed in front of the flame arrester.
A shut-off valve must be installed before the flame arrester on the vent pipe for emergency use.
I can only tell you that some have it and some don’t; it might depend on their properties
There is also a shut-off valve in front of the flame arrester, that is, near the equipment.
