How should slag leakage from the water-cooled air distribution plate in a circulating fluidized bed boiler be dealt with?
During normal operation, the operator should ensure that the flow rate of the fluidizing air does not fall below its minimum value (determined through actual operation). During shutdown for maintenance, the wind direction angle and wear condition of all air nozzles should be carefully checked, and adjustments or replacements should be made promptly to ensure their proper functionality, especially in the areas near the edges of the air distribution plate where it meets the water-cooled tube walls. Make every effort to ensure normal material return by the J-valve returner, and avoid interruptions in the return process to prevent buildup of bed material at the return port. Appropriately increasing the flow rate of the fluidizing air or adding throttle rings at each air cap outlet can increase the resistance of the air distribution plate and thus raise the exit velocity of the air from the caps; however, this may increase the wear on the heated surfaces. Where conditions permit, the structure of the outlet from the return feeder can be modified; for example, some return air can be appropriately added in the area where the return port meets the furnace chamber, so as to distribute the returned material as evenly as possible over the bed material. This prevents the returned material from causing significant stress on any particular section of the bed when it enters the furnace chamber.
Repairing it is sufficient; polymer materials can be used to fix the defects.
Below the water-cooled air chamber, pipes can be installed as appropriate to serve as emergency or accident slag discharge pipes, preventing excessive accumulation of bed material in the water-cooled air chamber after the air cap falls, which could affect normal operation. (Temporary only).
1. During operation, it is necessary to ensure normal fluidization of the bed material; if this cannot be guaranteed, the slag discharge valve at the bottom of the air chamber can be opened to release some of the material. 2. During shutdown for maintenance, repair the damaged air caps.
