How to select electric valves for main steam and main feedwater in power plants? How to choose the valve material? Intelligent integrated control or separate control? The ambient temperature at the temperature and pressure reduction station is around 50 degrees; should an imported or a domestic product be chosen?
This valve is very critical and operates under high pressure differences; it is best to use imported valves. Here, the control is handled separately through DCS, with the logic operations being implemented within the DCS.
Power generation plants generally opt for imported ones; this valve is too critical and requires a high level of reliability. The control logic is implemented within the DCS; no separate control cabinet is required. This approach is aimed at ensuring reliable and rapid control, and given the importance of the equipment itself, there is no concern regarding the investment in DCS components for this equipment. However, in the case of waste heat power generation, if the steam volume parameter is low, it’s difficult to determine for sure whether the steam should be imported or produced locally; still, the logic for making this decision should remain within the DCS, and that doesn’t change.
How to choose the valve material? Intelligent integrated control or separate control? It is recommended to use a separately controlled design, with pressure and temperature reduction being controlled independently and integrated within the DCS system through interlock controls. Imported valves are advised to use, as internal leakage in such valves has a significant impact on power generation; the operating costs associated with them are not comparable to the investment costs. The material of the valves should be determined based on temperature and pressure requirements, and it should generally be the same as that of the main steam pipes
Please provide relatively reliable valve manufacturers both domestically and internationally! !
Common foreign manufacturers of control valves used in the petrochemical industry: Fisher, Fox
I’m also looking at it; I’m also concerned about this issue
We can do it. We can supply you with electric actuators of imported quality; please send me the technical specifications to my email address 13764138562@163.com
The boiler plant supplied us with those produced by Yangzhou Xinneng Power Equipment Co., Ltd.; they are mainly used for primary and secondary feedwater as well as desuperheating water. I wasn’t in agreement with this, but the management insisted on using them, and there was nothing I could do! I wonder how the products made by this company are ? ?
We use domestic products from Yangzhou; they’ll last no problem for 20 years
