As the title suggests: I would like to ask those experienced professionals in methanol plants – how much steam is required to distill one ton of methanol? What is the cost per ton of steam calculated internally by the factory? ?
Approximately 0.5~0.8 tons of steam per ton of methanol; the cost of steam is 120 yuan per ton
Generally, about 1.1 tons of steam are required per ton of methanol, but some units with defects consume more energy, requiring around 1.4 tons of steam per ton of methanol.
In actual production, the best achievable value is around 0.78–0.9. As for steam calculations, it depends on whether you purchase it externally or produce it yourself; in either case, it’s difficult to determine an exact figure
