Since the control room needs to be moved, both the PLC cabinets and MCC cabinets in the factory have to be relocated. As a result, the control cables and power cables connected to the control cabinets must be reconnected. The problem is that if the rooms are moved, the cables will definitely not be long enough; therefore, the cables need to be extended. However, using so many cables requires a large amount of space for a junction box. Is there some kind of connector that can link the original cables with the new ones and lead them to the control cabinet? It must be connected firmly and safely, meeting chemical industry standards.
If it’s not possible to use a transfer cabinet, then a few JB units have to be installed in place to handle the transfer.
Instrument control cables are generally not connected to avoid accidental activation
It can be used to make cable connectors. The cable should not be too long, especially to the control cabinet.
The control cable needs to be re-routed and wired. The power cable can be connected as long as the starting voltage drop requirement is met; use sleeves to connect the cables at both ends to ensure proper insulation and protection.
