In the future, there may be a significant demand gap for isobutane in China, but imported resources are generally in the form of crude butane. Are there any facilities in China that are already in operation for the separation of n-isobutane?
The separation of n-isobutane can be achieved using conventional distillation methods, although it requires significant energy consumption. This tower is present in all C4 isomerization units.
The separation of n-isobutane can be achieved using conventional distillation; with 110 theoretical plates and a reflux ratio of around 10, the separation is relatively easy

Ordinary distillation will suffice; it just requires higher energy consumption, a greater number of theoretical plates, and a higher reflux ratio. There’s nothing special about the rest
