I am a crude benzene hydrogenation and refining unit; after hydrogenation, the nitrogen content remains within limits. However, after extraction distillation, the nitrogen content exceeds the specified limits. The extractant used is formamidomorpholine. We suspect that this is caused by the decomposition of the extractant, but there is no significant decrease in the amount of the extractant, nor is there any notable reduction in the extraction efficiency.
