What are the bed resistance characteristics of a circulating fluidized bed boiler?
The bed resistance characteristic refers to the relationship between the pressure drop caused by the flowing gas through the material layer and the cold-flow velocity (or apparent velocity) calculated based on the bed cross-sectional area. The resistance characteristics of the bed layer can be used to determine the thickness of the material layer and the required wind pressure of the fan.
Conducting cold-state performance tests on the boiler is intended to provide the necessary control parameters for the first ignition of the boiler and its safe operation in hot condition. At the same time, it serves to understand the cold-state operating characteristics of the boiler and its main auxiliary systems, and to provide a basis for promptly identifying any defects in the boiler and auxiliary equipment during their manufacturing and installation processes. Effective measures are taken to address the issues identified during testing, in order to ensure that the cold-state tests of the boiler facilitate successful initial startup and safe operation in hot condition
