Dear experts, I would like to ask about measures to prevent corrosion of pipes and valves. What methods do you use? Is applying an anti-corrosion coating used? What are the commonly used anti-corrosion coatings these days, and what is their cost?
External corrosion protection mainly involves coatings; depending on the temperature, these are typically epoxy zinc-rich primers, inorganic zinc-rich primers, and various aliphatic polyurethane topcoats. For high temperatures, silicone-based heat-resistant coatings are used. The costs have not been calculated yet.
