How should it be set up? The simulation doesn’t run properly; what should be used as the basis for determining the flow rate of the product at the bottom of the tower? Thank you
I’ve never worked with this type of exhaust gas scrubber; is the difference between the feed rate and the circulation rate quite large here? If so, it won’t converge easily. It’s best to assign initial values to any stream in the circulating flow. Could you provide the feed data and process requirements? I can try to help you. :)
First, there is a lack of cleaning solution; second, the process setup is unreasonable, but the latter does not affect convergence

The initial washing liquid was liquid SiCl4; later, due to the condensation of the intake gas mixture, the washing liquid became a mixture of SiCl4 and a small amount of liquid SiHCl3. The product specification refers to the gas exiting at the top of the tower
It is recommended to assign an initial value to the liquid stream circulating to the top of the tower; this initial value should be as close as possible to the actual value in order to achieve convergence.
For CDI low-temperature washing, you just need to enter the circulation volume based on the data in the material balance sheet; set the temperature and pressure, and there’s no need to worry about anything else. A flow rate of 1 is sufficient – no need to adjust it.
