I would appreciate some advice from experts on how to select the material for jacketed tubes
Inner tube, outer tube, support material between the inner and outer tubes, outer tube half-section.
You mean the positioning plate, right? How is material usually processed for positioning plates? Then are the outer tube and the outer tube half-tube you mentioned redundant?
It’s simply a matter of specifying the materials required for the inner tube, the outer jacketing tube, and the heating tubes (heating wires, steam supply lines, drain lines). When cutting the materials, there’s no need to indicate whether they are for the inner tube, outer tube, or heating tubes; the steel plates used for positioning are sufficient. Refer to SH/T 3040-2012 Code for Design of Pipelines Accompanying and Enclosing Pipelines in Petrochemical Industries.
