Odor control in circulating water and water treatment technologies in gas production workshops

Our company uses a fixed-bed batch gas production system; the circulating water used in this system emits strong odors, and there are serious water-level rise problems in winter, along with high corrosion levels. Do Texaco and Space Furnace have better supporting technologies to solve this problem? I would appreciate some guidance from experts.
Could there be other substances leaking into the circulating water??
