Does anyone know about pneumatic triple unions with large-diameter connections (such as 2 inches), and in what fields or situations can they be used? Thank you all
Such a large air circuit interface specification is likely used in large cut-off valves with high pressure differences and large diameters. It is generally not used on control valves, as these valves are not designed to be such large in size.
For the air supply pipelines of the main ducts, many large-diameter triple units have been used in the past; from the main ducts, several smaller pipelines branch off. When there are multiple air lines, we use air source distributors to distribute the air to the shut-off valves – it’s quite simple.
What industry does the large-diameter gas supply pipeline you mentioned belong to, power plants? Chemical plant? What workshop uses it? Thanks.
