It’s been newly welded; it definitely needs to be purged. Is pickling necessary? Does anything need to be done to the inner surface of the pipe as well?

We didn’t use pickling; instead, we carried out steam purging and target testing for the machine trial
We haven’t carried out acid cleaning; we simply perform purging, and it’s acceptable as long as the testing is successful
Pickling is necessary. Marksmanship needs to be up to standard. And it’s best to conduct flaw detection.
