In other words, for operational positions, the DCS itself is merely a shell; therefore, the interface used for operation and monitoring is developed separately. Therefore, such finished \"simulation\" software does not exist, as no developer can simulate the \"redevelopment\" phase in advance. However, there are many simulation companies that can provide the development of DCS simulation training platforms, either combining hardware and software or using purely software-based solutions.

I’m not sure what the purpose of the software is for the person who posted this question. If they want to see the user interface, understand how to operate the equipment, and how to view trend and alarm reports, then it has to be said that DCS software from different manufacturers, as well as project programs developed by different developers, vary from one another. Therefore, if you don’t specify which system you are using, there is no such thing as a \"universal\" simulation software. If the owner’s goal is to become familiar with the process flow through simulation software and understand how to operate the equipment under various production processes, then it can be said that DCS simulation software won’t be of any help; instead, one needs to consult materials such as process principles, operation manuals, emergency response plans, and project drawings.

Vocational schools for the chemical industry have such operation simulation systems; I saw them at Dongying Technician College in Shandong and even used them, and they work on similar principles to actual operations.
