Rats in the control room keep appearing despite repeated attempts to get rid of them; I saw ultrasonic rodent repellers on Taobao. There are too many brands, though; I’m not sure if anyone uses them or what the results are like Thank you
Control rooms and power distribution rooms are most afraid of rats; we usually use poison to deal with them

Personally, I think mouse repellents are a solution used after the fact; it’s not recommended to rely on this method. Proper precautions should be taken from the start – barriers such as fireproof materials or sand should be placed in all areas that could allow mice to enter. At the entrances, mouse-proof panels should be used; it may not look good, but it’s necessary. Otherwise, with so many cables around, mice might easily snap a few of them, which would cause a lot of trouble.
I haven’t heard about it yet; it seems it’s in the warehouse! After all, there are people in the control room every day; I guess the rats don’t dare to come out: lol
I use the rodent (insect) repellent from Yangzhou Dawen here. But it doesn’t work well; the old methods have to be used, such as using drugs, mouse traps, and rodent-proof boards
The key is to ensure there’s no food available, so the rats starve to death.
The one upstairs is the correct answer. I’ve also encountered situations where mice gnawed on cables; in one case, my grandmother’s actions caused a short circuit in a 50mm2 24VDC cable, which was used to supply power to the solenoids in the entire system (our solenoids are powered by a separate DC supply). As a result, the compressors stopped working, and everything in the system ceased to function. . . Joke: This rat really knows how to pick cables to gnaw on; it died by serving as a scapegoat – it died a fitting death. . . The year before last we adopted a cat; last year it gave birth to a litter of kittens, and this year there are hardly any mice around anymore
After applying the substance, a few days later the smell inside the control unit was absolutely delightful. Turn on all the instruments, lift up the anti-static floor to find the dead mouse. Damn, that scene is absolutely beautiful.
It’s still the most basic method: use rat poison. Adhesives aren’t reliable either
