I would like to ask how to represent absolute values in a DCS system? Is it made of ABS? Including in flowcharts, within CALCU, and in SFC blocks – how is it represented in each case?
It’s this one right here; or you can break it down into cases: if it’s less than zero, multiply by negative one, and if it’s greater than zero, output the value. There are many ways to do this
Got it. For c=a+b, abs(c) – there cannot be any expressions inside the parentheses
If it is an integer, use labs(arg); if it is a real number, use dabs(arg)
