Can the water flow rate be estimated just by knowing the pressure difference and pipe diameter?

It should be possible; you can see this from the pressure drop formula. There is a definite relationship between pressure drop, flow rate, and pipe fittings, but this relationship may change depending on the flow conditions. The straightforward approach is to assume a certain flow state, calculate the corresponding flow rate, and then check whether it falls within the range for that flow state; you can try this method one by one. I haven’t dealt with these concepts for quite some time since starting work, so I’ve forgotten the specific formulas. You can look up books on fluid mechanics – it’s actually quite easy to understand. I hope this helps you
