However, both new technologies and new processes go through a scaling-up process from the laboratory to actual production, and different water quality conditions require separate treatment approaches; there is no one-size-fits-all solution. For new technologies and new processes, it is more reliable to conduct pilot tests before deciding whether they can be used.
