1 inch = 2.54 centimeters. 1 foot = 12 inches.
H=3.4u2; H is in inches and u is in feet. When H is in meters and u is also in meters, the units are not consistent – I don’t understand what this means For example, if the unit on the left is meters and the unit on the right is square meters, how can the two be equal? Square feet and square inches are related by a factor of 144.
