Has anyone used Rosemount conductivity meters? There seems to be an issue with the conductivity of the circulating water introduced by the unit; it’s not clear. 1. For example, is the conductivity constant within it fixed? Will it change on its own after calibration? 2. If the indication is inaccurate, should one first check whether the conductivity constant matches or examine the zero point? 3. Is it necessary to calibrate the zero point? Is there any impact? 4. In some instruments, fluctuations occur as soon as the valve is opened fully; I’m not sure what the reason is It will be fine once it’s turned down.

After calibration, I found that the constants I had changed had reverted back to their original values. The conductivity of Rosemont is 1056.

The measurement of conductivity is related to temperature, medium flow rate, and the microenvironment of the conductivity electrodes; it is therefore important to maintain a favorable measuring environment. Since it is a calibration, one data segment should be corrected, but it does not have to be the zero point of conductivity (theoretically, there is no zero point for conductivity unless the resistance is infinite); using a calibration solution is a good option.
