Issues with diesel flash point and initial boiling point?

I have a diesel sample whose flash point is 80°C, while its initial boiling point is 150°C. Multiple retests of the flash point still give a value around 80°C, and the initial boiling point remains around 150°C as well. According to the relationship between flash point and initial boiling point (the flash point is generally equal to the initial boiling point minus 110 degrees), this shouldn’t be the case. Is there something wrong with the determination of the flash point or the initial boiling point? Has anyone encountered such a situation?
The flash point of oils can only be determined through actual measurement, as the main factor affecting an oil’s flash point are the light components present in it. Although some empirical formulas provide methods for reference in making inferences, measured data is the only correct and accurate one.
The flash point is related to the initial boiling point as well as the hydrocarbon composition of the oil; empirical formulas are only suitable for conventional oils and not applicable to oils with different compositions. Also, what is the temperature difference between your initial boiling point and 10%? Some have extremely low levels of light components, making it impossible to determine their flash point; in other cases, the high temperature during sample preparation may cause volatilization, so this value is for reference only.
