There are more side reactions; perhaps this is due to a high amount of dienes in the raw materials, which leads to longer molecular chains in the product and a higher dry point
In general, such situations are mainly due to problems with the reaction mechanism, resulting in some side reactions. Treatment: 1. Start with the raw materials to eliminate impurities as much as possible; 2. Optimize the operations in the reaction stage by increasing the feed alkene-to-hydrocarbon ratio and the reaction alkene-to-hydrocarbon ratio, reducing the reaction temperature, increasing the acid-to-hydrocarbon ratio and acid concentration, and striving to keep the acid concentration above 94%. The dryness level is too high; it’s mainly due to impurities and issues with the reaction process. As for the distillation stage, there’s no need to worry about it.
