Do the rubber hoses used for loading the gas-water separation and initial tar separation units break in winter? Which type of hose is everyone using, and what is the standard? Thank you!

Yeah, it’s been pretty cold here these past few days; I’ve broken two branches from the cold
Make some modifications: using 20# steel with a DN100 diameter will suffice. Add a valve to the pipeline connecting the small cone to the dust collection pipe; a ball valve would be ideal. Install a purge steam line between the small cone and the ball valve. In winter, it’s sufficient to keep the purge steam flowing at a low level to maintain a state of vapor emission
We have all of those things you mentioned now; they are the rubber hoses used for loading after they come out
High-temperature resistant rubber hose DN110 is used for the tubing. We’ve used it for several years with no problems.
It seems the poster is referring to the problem of cracking due to winter cold.
The poster can use DN108 high-temperature rubber hoses; we have customers here who have used them, and they work well. Low-temperature resistance up to -40 degrees Celsius
What kind of equipment is your primary tar separator? I’ve never seen one before; could we talk about it?
