For oxidation prevention in lubricant stations, vacuuming and nitrogen filling are used. I would like to know what the principle behind nitrogen filling is, and how it is carried out
Nitrogen filling serves to isolate the fuel tank from the air outside; the tank is kept at a slight positive pressure, and all that’s needed is to connect a nitrogen pipeline to the top of the tank
Introducing nitrogen is mainly to isolate it from air and prevent oxidation
