A workshop is equipped with numerous devices, and due to the continuous operation in the chemical industry (three shifts), what methods do various organizations use for the maintenance of these devices? Is there a dedicated person in charge for each device, or is it a shift-handover system? Thank you. For example, is one person responsible for compressor A, or are three people on shift responsible for it?
Generally, a dedicated person cleans the charter flight, with inspections carried out in three shifts.
Our company: Daily tasks such as adding oil and dealing with leakage points are carried out during shift changes ； Tasks related to maintenance, such as periodic oil changes, cleaning of motors, checking of grounding, and general hygiene upkeep, are carried out by the assigned teams.
Now a contracting system is in use; each piece of equipment is assigned to a specific person, who is responsible for its lubrication, cleaning, and proper condition. The person on duty is accountable for the operation of the equipment, to ensure that no accidents occur due to inadequate inspections.
