Requirements for transporting methanol: The transportation of methanol is carried out in accordance with the regulations set by the chemicals and transportation authorities. 1. Methanol is transported either in tank trucks or in iron drums; each drum has a net weight of 160 kg ； Railway tank cars are 40~50t ； The capacity of the road tankers is 2~4 tons. 2. Containers holding methanol must be marked with clear labels indicating the manufacturer’s name, product name, net weight, standard number, and hazard labeling for dangerous goods. 3.
