What references do engineers generally consult when making selections, especially when determining the material for the liquid-contacting parts? I’m looking for it too. Right now I can see many versions of this \"Handbook of Common Metal Materials,\" and I’m trying to choose one. Most of them are reference manuals – books that can be found by using keywords or design-related terms; there are plenty of such books available. There are also various **standards and industry norms**

I usually go straight to manufacturers with experience and a track record, and then negotiate with them. . . Or refer to Baidu Wenku and Haichuan Forum. . .
This is not enough to improve oneself; the suggestions from manufacturers can only serve as a reference, not as decisive factors.
