What references do engineers generally consult when making selections, especially when determining the material for the liquid-contacting parts? Regarding material selection: I usually consult the book \"Corrosion Data and Material Selection Handbook.\" Since there is no print version, searching through the electronic version is quite troublesome. Is there any other handbook with similar functions that is available for purchase? Regarding instrument selection: I usually refer to the book \"Petroleum and Chemical Industry Automation Design Manual.\" There is a print version of this book, and I like to read it in my free time; it’s quite comprehensive and interesting. As for instrument installation, I generally rely on various national standards, with \"GB 50093-2013 Code for Construction and Quality Inspection of Automation Instrumentation Projects\" being my top choice, as it provides comprehensive and standardized guidelines. What reference materials do people usually use when selecting products? Have you memorized it all?
I’m looking for it too. Right now I can see many versions of this \"Handbook of Common Metal Materials,\" and I’m trying to choose one. Most of them are reference manuals – books that can be found by using keywords or design-related terms; there are plenty of such books available. There are also various **standards and industry norms**
If you find any good ones, please recommend them; I’d like to buy one……
I usually go straight to manufacturers with experience and a track record, and then negotiate with them. . . Or refer to Baidu Wenku and Haichuan Forum. . .
This is not enough to improve oneself; the suggestions from manufacturers can only serve as a reference, not as decisive factors.
