The inlet temperature of the fractionation tower is 330 degrees when there is no wax oil being processed; it rises to 348 degrees once wax oil is processed. The top temperature remains fixed at 120 degrees. The reflux flow operates at its full capacity. For diesel, the flash point requirement is 55–60 degrees, with a value of 95 corresponding to temperatures of 365–370 degrees. The resulting product has a flash point of 47 degrees and a value of 95 corresponding to a temperature of 390 degrees. Are the lighter components of the diesel product separated more easily while the heavier components are less so? Could this be due to the tower trays being overloaded, resulting in poor separation? Perhaps the difference between light and heavy components causes too many issues. The processing volume for gasoline is 13 tons, for diesel it’s 9 tons, and for wax oil it’s 80 tons
The tower top is overloaded. Increase the mid-section circulation and tower top circulation volume in a timely manner. Slightly increase the tower top pressure and temperature.
It means that the amount of vapor generated is too large, resulting in an excessive load on the top of the tower. By interrupting the process, some heat can be removed and part of the vapor can be compressed. At this point, the reflux rate at the top of the tower will automatically decrease. If the temperature at the top of the tower is increased and the reflux rate is raised, could the flash point become lower? I think it would be feasible to increase the pressure after interrupting the process. With a high enough temperature at the top of the tower, light components can be removed; after increasing the pressure, the heavier components won’t be able to reach the 95% level, which would improve the situation. However, some of the light components still won’t be able to rise to that level. By increasing the temperature at the top of the tower, those light components that can’t rise can be extracted – this makes sense. But increasing the temperature will also raise the reflux rate. I’m still wondering whether the flash point will remain low ? ? ?
I’m sorry, I made a mistake; I was confused. It’s okay to increase the top temperature – doing so reduces the flow rate. How embarrassing
