As the title suggests, there are an increasing number of management systems: LIMS, MES, ERP, attendance management systems, online reimbursement systems, OA systems, project management systems, team assessment systems, measurement management systems, mobile equipment monitoring systems, electronic invoicing systems, equipment management systems, fund management systems, and so on. 1. For every task, no matter how minor it may be (such as replacing gaskets or installing guide plates), it must be submitted in one or more of these systems. 2. There are overlaps between these systems as well; for example, the MES system and the team accounting system overlap with each other, and the data generated by them is inconsistent. 3. There’s also the HSE management system platform, for which many tasks need to be reported. All of this results in decreasing efficiency and rising management costs. How should these various systems in factories be integrated? How can management costs (time, effort, resources, and manpower) be reduced while ensuring compliance, thereby improving efficiency? Management, compliance, standardization, and efficiency should not be contradictory to each other.
I learned it all from foreigners, but it’s still one person leading the system. In fact, many of them should be merged; mainly, one main storyline is sufficient.
It is still necessary to carry out proper data integration; as long as the data is accurate, efficiency can be improved without adding extra work. This is also why honesty from businesses is required – if a company keeps multiple sets of accounts, then most of your work will consist of reconciling these accounts in order to meet the inspection requirements of various parties.
Management, compliance, standardization, and efficiency have an impact. It is necessary to adapt measures to local conditions; applying approaches mechanically will not work.
