What is the relationship between the outlet flow rate of a centrifugal pump and its power consumption? Does a higher outlet flow rate mean higher power consumption?
Generally speaking, it is indeed as you said: the greater the data traffic, the higher the electricity consumption. For specific details, the pump’s performance curve should be referred to. Previously, we did encounter a vertical pump in which the current level was too high when the outlet was completely closed; however, once the outlet valve was opened to a certain degree, the current dropped back to normal levels.
