In previous posts regarding \"reducing energy consumption in multi-stage pumps,\" many suggestions were provided by fellow users. Through modifications and trial operations, the current level under normal operating conditions has dropped from 60A to 44A, showing significant results. Thank you all again. :)
Actually, it’s not anything serious – we simply changed the original 9-stage pump to a 7-stage one, removed two impellers from the middle in a symmetrical manner, and fabricated two shaft sleeves at those locations to fill the space left by the removed impellers. We were concerned about vibration issues at the time because we didn’t perform dynamic balancing, but after trial operation, the results were quite good, with vibration levels of only 2 mm/s
