It seems you have a system that uses pure oxygen. This depends on your acid gas load; if the load is sufficient to maintain the furnace temperature, it’s possible to stop using both air and fuel gas for combustion, and instead use only acid gas and oxygen. If the acid gas load is very low and the furnace temperature cannot be maintained, fuel gas and air must be kept supplied.
There must be a problem with the fuel gas withdrawal node; the fuel gas should not be withdrawn immediately after low-formic acid gas is introduced, but rather gradually. Exit immediately to create a local negative pressure; although the factory’s protective ventilation is in operation, some acidic gases still manage to get in. Acidic gases release heat at a much higher rate than gas, which is why it causes the gas burners to be damaged.
When lighting the main gas burner, the gas nozzle can be pulled out; a blind plate should be installed at the flange, and the short-circuited section still requires air protection.
