What are the advantages and disadvantages of E+H mass flow meters compared to Emerson mass flow meters?
The measurement principle is the same in all of them; they are all maintenance-free instruments. I found the Emerson HighAcc 1700 to be quite good to use.

Based on my personal experience, I used E+H for experiments during my graduate studies, and after starting work I used High Precision for design work; the quality of both is similar, so it usually comes down to price. Clients tend to prefer Emerson’s products.

Repeatability is also an advantage of Emerson’s products, as can be seen from aspects such as the high precision and applications in measurement transfer that you mentioned. Why is the transmitter cost for the latter two lower at Emerson? From my experience, Emerson transmitters come with more output options by default, right? Theoretically, it should be more expensive. Actually, the mass flowmeters from both companies are of good quality; we have used many of them. However, considering on-site use and annual calibration, Emerson’s models perform better.
