Why is a reducer installed in a mixer, and what is the function of a reducer?
The stirring speed should not be too high; it’s generally around 150-200, as higher speeds can cause it to break
Reduce the speed of the stirring shaft and increase its torque to ensure safe and stable operation of the shaft
Then why can’t we simply reduce the rotation speed? Why do we need a reducer?
Whether the speed is reduced by changing the rotor current or the excitation current, it will result in changes in torque; therefore, it is not very practical to reduce only the speed without reducing the torque.
