There is a membrane filtration unit in the workshop at present, which needs to have its liquid drained every two hours; each drainage process takes about ten seconds. I’m not sure what other components are required besides electric ball valves.

Can a microcomputer-based time controller be used? Can it be displayed on a DCS?
In simple terms, a microcontroller controller is placed in the control room, along with fault alarms; in the event of a power outage or valve failure, it can alert the personnel on duty to take action, preventing liquid from accumulating and failing to be discharged. If there is already a PLC control system in place, it’s possible to see if expansion is feasible on it, by writing a program to control the switching of the electric actuator.
For automatic drain valves, choose a regular automatic drain valve if there are no impurities in the water; choose a coaxial drain valve if there are impurities in the water
