Newbie seeking help; hope experts can assist :) Our factory currently has a pure water system, and we need to control the start and stop of this system based on the level of liquid in the storage tank. Additionally, we want to control the start and stop of the pure water output pump using the pressure in the pure water pipeline. This is not to be controlled via a DCS system – how can this be achieved? Please help! ! !

It’s simple – use a pressure switch or a level switch

Siemens LOGO is the best choice.

Connect a pressure switch or level switch in series into the circuit

If a 220V level switch or pressure switch is used, the pump can be started and stopped by utilizing the switch engagement of the level gauge, without the need for an additional PLC.

No, no need for DCS or PLCs; what alternatives are there for level switches and pressure switches?

No pressure switch needed – what about a level switch? Are there any other options?

If not, there is no other option but to monitor the liquid level and pressure, and manually stop and start the pump. If you want automation, how is it possible to achieve that without buying a meter?
