In the existing MTO units, what is the situation regarding the feeding of fuel gas and fuel oil to the CO incinerator?
So far, there has been no sound of fuel oil being added; the normal pilot light is burning, and if there is a shortage of CO, more gas is used for combustion.
I mean, no fuel oil was added, but was fuel gas added?
If fuel oil is cheaper than fuel gas, of course fuel gas can be used. In reality, however, fuel oil can generally be processed and utilized, while fuel gas is usually dry gas; using fuel gas constitutes waste utilization.
The basic design documents state that \"due to the high CO content in the regenerated flue gas, without adding additional fuel, the theoretically calculated temperature of the flue gas after combustion under normal operating conditions reaches 1106°C (which is normal).\" “If the combustion conditions fluctuate, fuel can be added as appropriate.” Does this mean that when the combustion conditions are stable, that is, under normal circumstances, there is no need for fuel gas or fuel oil?
It should be understood in this way; however, if there is excess fuel gas in the device that cannot be consumed, it can also be burned here to enable heat recovery.
Theoretically, the fuel gas is only used for startup; during normal operation, no additional combustion is required because the CO level in the regenerating flue gas is very high.
